Flesh Feast

Flesh Feast is a 3D action horror game released by Sega Soft on May 20, 1998. The game was primarily designed for multiplayer gaming on Sega Soft's Heat.net network.

Flesh Feast is mainly a third-person action game presented from a top-down perspective. The story begins when a secret ingredient developed by the Nutritional Applied Science and Technology Corporation (NASAT) spreads into the drinking water of an entire island. The citizens die and come back as zombies, rising from the ground to attack the living. Players control characters from three different teams as they progress through 14 levels. Each team consists of one main character and two supporting characters. Throughout the game, hordes of zombies attack the player, who must use weapons found in each level to fend them off. A radar display shows the location of items related to the characters. The goal is to complete each level to unlock the final showdown at the NASAT headquarters.

Each level consists of three sectors divided into three difficulty levels, with each sector assigned to the player’s team. There is no need to complete the sectors in order. Levels take place in various locations such as docks, graveyards, and shopping malls. Characters can be controlled directly or indirectly, with players using the keyboard to maneuver the characters or clicking with the mouse to command the team to attack enemies or collect items. To complete each sector, players must find the exit, usually involving obtaining an item like a key card to remove barriers.

Multiplayer gaming can be played over a local network or online via the Heat.net service. Both cooperative and competitive modes are available, supporting 2 to 8 players.
