Battle Girl: Tokyo crisis wars | 1991
In the 1991 Japanese horror film directed by Kazuo Komizu, pro wrestler Cutie Suzuki plays a survivor in a zombie apocalypse. Bill Gibron from DVD Talk rated it 2/5, describing it as a tedious attempt to mimic Troma Entertainment. David Johnson from DVD Verdict stated, "I don't know how you can mess up a zombie killer movie starring a pro wrestler. This is one of the most boring and nonsensical vampire films I've ever seen." Scholar Peter Dendle in "The Zombie Movie Encyclopedia" noted, "The low-budget effects and ridiculous costumes are fatal to a science fiction apocalypse film like this."
A meteorite crashes, transforming Tokyo's population into flesh-eating zombies, and the military quarantines the city. Survivor Keiko fights her way through the city, facing off against the evil mercenary General Hokyo, who indiscriminately kills both humans and zombies.
